About Volksbaggin.com

VolksBaggin Seat Bag Totes were created by Susie Paquette in early 2005. Since then, their popularity has grown internationally, with her bags being sold in a dozen countries and growing.

Susie moved from New Hampshire to California in 1998 to help her friend Lenny Copp, owner of West Coast Classic Rstoration, to run his VW restoration business located in Fullerton, California.

Seven years later, Susie’s experience, knowledge and education in the VW auto upholstery industry naturally presented itself the idea of making and selling Seat Bag Totes from the leftover materials. Susie attended and vended at many VW events throughout the car show calendar. When she realized that everything that was for sale was geared mostly to men and left little for the ladies, VolksBaggin.com was born.

Susie brought out her first 50 Seat Bag Totes at the June VW Classic in 2005, and all 50 sold that very day! She was pleasantly surprised when quite a number of men showed their interest, buying them for wives, girlfriends and mothers.

In December 2006, Susie won the "Unique Product" award at the Harvest Festival, Original Art and Craft Show.

With more than 1,000 hand made Seat Bag Totes sold to date, Susie has now made Wallets and Coin Purses available, establishing a full line of VW related accessories.

During the day, you can find Susie at the shop making Seat Bags, and at night she’s cutting, stitching and manufacturing from home. Her greatest hope is that you will enjoy using her products as much as she enjoys making them.
